EP Strategies collaborates across a range of issue areas and types of stakeholders by:
Communicating research for action through data collection, analyses, and written products and presentations. This may include advising the measurement and evaluation of public policy, systems change, grantmaking and/or integration of community engagement.
Listening to your stakeholders, synthesizing themes, and articulating priorities to inform the direction of your work.
Supporting your grantmaking processes or evaluation, communicating with interested applicants, evaluating grant proposals, and supporting your review process to meet your philanthropic mission.
Amplifying voices that are underrepresented, oppressed, or systemically excluded.
Providing collaborative thought partnership on program development and implementation.
Putting your vision into action through management of multi-faceted programs, campaigns, or learning cohorts.
Collaborating with you to build your policy advocacy, organizing and lobbying impact.
Deepening the engagement of folks most directly impacted by your work.
Delivering interactive policy advocacy and/or community engagement training to demystify the policymaking process and/or the impact and how-to of community engagement.
Using an equity, anti-racist, trust-based and intersectional approach. This begins at the individual level where I engage in my own, ongoing, internal work and growth.
Examples of past partnerships:
2025-2026: Greater Worcester Community Foundation: Designed and facilitated a community advisory, conducted a trust-based assessment, co-created a logic model and contributed to the development of an evaluation roadmap.
2025: Watertown Human Rights Commission: Facilitated a community needs assessment in collaboration with members of the Watertown Human Rights Commission; Integrated a community, equity and human rights centered approach.
2022-2025: The Restuccia Health Justice Fellowship (RHJF) at Community Catalyst{ Engaged in thought partnership, project management, curriculum development, grant selection process, and evaluation. The RHJF built the power and capacity of health advocacy leaders and their organizations to reshape the U.S. health system to better reflect and respond to community needs.
2022-2025: GMA Foundations: Managed giving programs, liased with applicants, and produced application and report evaluation summaries. GMA helps foundations, families, and giving programs achieve greater impact, simplified operations, smart financial management, and successful transitions.
2022-2023: DC Next! and DC Primary Care Association: Analyzed and communicated research for action, elevating community voice.
2022-2023: Central Massachusetts Housing Alliance: Provided public policy strategy, program development tools and training.
2021: The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Massachusetts Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative: Collected, analyzed and presented feedback from young parents to inform decision making for DPH and its interagency task force; Engaged youth leaders, co-designed focus groups, and collaborated across nonprofit partners.
